Stop Overspending with a Jago Visa Debit Card
So how can overspending be reduced when you make payments with the Jago Visa Debit Card?
1. Link your Jago debit card with a Spending Pocket and set the transaction limit as you want
With a physical Jago Visa Debit Card in your hand and linked to a Spending Pocket, you can set a daily transaction limit as needed.
For example, you have set a daily transaction not to exceed Rp 1 million. This means that if you want to buy your desired item that costs more than Rp 1 million, the transaction will be declined or fail.
That way, you won't overspend because Jago will be there to remind you that you can only spend a maximum of Rp 1 million.
In addition, your Jago Visa Debit Card can only use up the budget in the linked Spending Pocket. Money from other Spending Pockets that are not linked to the Jago Visa Debit Card cannot be used, unless you move the budget. Jago doesn't recommend this, Jagoans, if you want to maintain discipline and stop overspending.
2. Activate or deactivate the transaction type option according to your wishes
Regarding the daily transaction limit, you can choose from a number of available options. You don't have to activate every option. Everything depends on your needs. If one of the options has not been activated and you want to save even more, you can activate it later.
What options are available? First, you can set an EDC limit. Setting the EDC limit is very useful for those of you who often shop offline, such as in shops in shopping centers or in supermarkets that use EDC machines.
Second, you can set an online limit. If you prefer to shop at online stores, this online limit setting option could be the most appropriate for you.
Third, you can set a payWave limit. Using payWave, you can save time shopping with faster and more practical purchases without having to use cash.
Finally, you can set a transaction limit via ATM. Just like setting EDC, online and payWave limits, you will not be able to complete transactions if the transaction to be made exceeds the predetermined limit.
