About Investment Pocket (Sharia Customer Fund Account)
The Investment Pocket is a Customer Fund Account (RDN) you can use for transactions in the Capital Market. You can only create this Pocket when you open an account on an investment platform (stockbroker) partnered with Jago Syariah, and it will stay linked to your account on that platform. All the money you put into this Pocket will be used for your transactions in the Capital Market through the connected investment platforms. The Jago Syariah RDN follows Sharia principles, according to DSN MUI Fatwa, and is supervised by Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS).
This Investment Pocket is categorized as a Special Pocket because it is specifically for transactions on connected investment platforms and has different functions compared to your usual Savings Pockets or Spending Pockets. Some limitations you will find in this Pocket are:
* Cannot be changed into a Savings Pocket or Spending Pocket
* Cannot be used for automatic payments
* Cannot be linked to a Debit Card
* Cannot be used for cash withdrawals
* Cannot be changed into a Shared Pocket
* Cannot have Additional Options (like Targets, Auto-Budgeting, etc.)
Akad Used in the RDN Syariah
When you open a Customer Fund Account (RDN) at Jago Syariah, the akad used is the Wadi’ah Yad Dhamanah. Wadi’ah is a safekeeping akad, where you can save and then withdraw your money in full. This means you won't get any returns on this RDN. Learn more about the Wadi’ah Yad Dhamanah akad here.
