Making Sharia Securities Transactions in the Capital Market
All buy-sell transactions in the Capital Market using the money in the Investment Pocket can only be done through your investment platform app. The Investment Pocket is only used to store money and display your transaction history, but it cannot be used for direct transactions from Jago Syariah.
To make transactions in the capital market, you can only trade Sharia-compliant stocks.
What is the Sharia Securities List?
The Sharia Securities List (DES) is a list of securities that comply with Sharia principles and are established by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This list serves as a reference for those issuing Sharia securities indexes, investment managers, securities companies with Sharia online trading systems, and others managing Sharia investment portfolios. The list includes Sharia-compliant stocks and other Sharia-compliant securities.
What if the stocks I own are no longer Sharia-compliant?
If a stock you own is removed from the Sharia Securities List, it will no longer be considered Sharia-compliant. The Stockbit app will notify you with a message like: “Non-Sharia Label indicates stocks that are no longer on the Sharia Securities List. Please sell these stocks.” So, you can sell non-Sharia stocks.
