Karangasem, Bali - 20 June 2026 — Committed to creating growth opportunities for millions, PT Bank Jago Tbk organized financial education, community empowerment, and educational assistance programs for hundreds of students and parents in the Selat district of Karangasem, Bali.
In collaboration with the Berbagi Setulus Hati Community, the "Bakti Pendidikan" (Educational Service) program reflects Bank Jago’s support for the National Movement (Gernas) MULIA 24 Years of Anti-Money Laundering and Prevention of of Terrorism Financing (APU PPT). The initiative, launched by the Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), targets Indonesia's frontier, outermost, and least developed regions (known locally as 3T).
To emphasize the importance of cross-sector collaboration, the event was attended by representatives from PPATK, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and Bank Jago's management team, including Bank Jago Commissioner Anika Faisal and Bank Jago Compliance Director Tjit Siat Fun.
The educational program featured three main initiatives designed to provide direct benefits to the community in Selat District, Karangasem, Bali. First, equipping more than 200 parents with family financial management tips, ranging from budgeting, distinguishing between needs and wants, building a habit of saving, to preparing an emergency fund.
Andhina Ratri Aryani, Bank Jago's Sustainability Program Activation Specialist, who is also a certified financial planner (CFP), equipped participants with materials and household budgeting simulations so they could immediately practice simple and planned financial management in their families.
"Simple steps like distinguishing needs from wants, setting aside money for savings, and preparing an emergency fund can be the initial steps to building family economic resilience," Andhina said.

The second activity focused on reading literacy for hundreds of elementary and middle school students. Bank Jago External Communication Specialist, Kezia Pingkan Jovanka, and volunteers from the Berbagi Setulus Hati Community led interactive storytelling sessions. Organizers said they hope the engaging approach will foster a love for reading, develop creativity, and sharpen children's imaginations.
To conclude the event, Bank Jago, PPATK, and the Berbagi Setulus Hati Community distributed educational assistance to hundreds of students across nine schools in the Selat district. The assistance packages included school bags, stationery, shoes, socks, and uniforms to support the students' education.
