Thursday, 18 July 2024 – PT Bank Jago Tbk and Agate, through its gamification division Level Up powered by Agate, discussed with several national media journalists the trend of education using digital games. One of successful examples of gamified education is Jago Money Quest, a web-based game that encourages young people, especially university students, to manage their finances wisely.
Head of Level Up powered by Agate, Junialdi Dwijaputra, explained that in developing gamification as a business solution service, they are supported by hundreds of digital talents and partners. The goal is to help partner companies achieve their business objectives and targets through a unique game-based approach on both desktop and mobile platforms.
"Gamification can enhance brand engagement, sales, and customer engagement. Additionally, gamification can drive metrics that are aimed at people's growth," said Junialdi.
Specifically, in collaboration with Bank Jago, Agate helped develop a game that aimed for the younger generation or millennials, adopting a simulation genre closely related to their life phases, known as Jago Money Quest.
Presenting the topic “Gamification in Financial Literacy Education for Young Adults,” Head of Sustainability & Digital Lending at Bank Jago, Andy Djiwandono, revealed that Jago Money Quest was created because Bank Jago aspires to enhance the growth of millions through life-focused digital financial solutions.
In developing the game, Andy continued, Bank Jago incorporated the UN Financial Health Framework, which is expected to help young people become more aware of their financial health, more confident in managing their finances, and have sustainable long-term financial goals.
By accessing http://JagoMoneyQuest.com, players assume fictional characters who face various financial situations designed to resemble real life. Currently, only the financial issues of university students are simulated in the eight levels of Jago Money Quest, starting from university admission to graduation and beginning their careers.
"In the future, Jago Money Quest could also simulate scenarios not just for students but for workers from various professions," concluded Andy.
