About Inactive Pockets
The new rules about Inactive Pocket will be valid as of 10 May 2026.
What is an inactive Pocket?
A pocket with no transactions for more than 360 consecutive days will be made Inactive. Once your Pocket turns Inactive, its balance will be transferred to your Main Pocket, and the Inactive Pocket will be closed after a certain period decided by the Bank. You will be charged a monthly inactive fee only if your Main Pocket is Inactive. But no worries, you can reactivate again!
Transactions that are initiated by the Bank system are not considered a transaction. These can include interests, fees and taxes.
What is an inactive fee?
An Inactive fee is a Rp10.000 monthly fee that will be automatically debited from your Main Pocket on the 26th of each month only when your Main Pocket is Inactive. Inactive fee will be charged monthly until:
- You do the reactivation
- Your Main Pocket reaches Rp0 balance
How to reactivate Inactive Pocket(s)?
There will be a “Reactivate” button feature that you are able to click to reactivate again your Inactive Pocket. If you do not reactivate within a certain period determined by the Bank, that Inactive Pocket will be closed.
Will I receive a notification before my Pocket becomes Inactive or Dormant?
Yes. You will receive a notification via the Jago App and email within a certain period determined by the Bank before your Pocket turns Inactive or Dormant. You will also receive a notification on the day your Pockets become Inactive or Dormant.
Limitations when you have the Inactive Pocket
Accounts with Inactive Pockets have limited features and usage; such as Pockets can’t be used to withdraw money, transfer funds, make payments, or serve as another source of funds for Plan Ahead and Auto-Budgeting. How do I make sure my Pocket is active?
You can stay active by using your Pocket to transact, such as adding money, moving money, or transferring money from your Pocket.

What is a Dormant Pocket?
A pocket with no transactions for more than 1800 consecutive days will be made Dormant. You will be charged a monthly dormant fee only if your Main Pocket is Dormant. But no worries, you can reactivate again!
Transactions that are initiated by the Bank system are not considered transactions. These can include interests, fees and taxes.
How to reactivate a Dormant Pocket?
To reactivate your Dormant Pocket, you will be required to re-verify your personal information with the Bank.
What is a Dormant fee?
A Dormant fee is a Rp10,000 monthly fee that will be automatically debited from your Main Pocket on the 26th of each month only when your Main Pocket is Dormant. Dormant fee will be charged until:
- You do reactivation
- Your Main Pocket reaches Rp0 balance

Additional Important Information
Is the Inactive and Dormant status tied to my Customer level or Pockets (accounts) level?
Inactive and Dormant status is applicable to your Pockets (accounts) level. Each of your Pockets are applicable to Inactive or Dormant status.
What happens if I have only several Pockets that are Inactive or Dormant?
Each Pocket status counts individually based on transactions you do in each of your Pockets.
No need to worry, You will still be able to use all of your Pockets so long as they are active.
What happens when a Pocket becomes Inactive and Dormant?

What Pockets can change into Inactive status?
Pockets that can change into Inactive status include:
- Main Pocket
- Savings Pockets (Arisan Pocket, Travel Pocket, Qurban Pocket, Emergency Fund Pocket)
- Spending Pockets
- Business Pockets
- Foreign currency Pockets
- Arisan Pockets
- Umrah Pocket
- Giveaway Pockets
- Child Pockets
Are there Pockets that are exempted from Inactive or Dormant status?
Yes, Pockets that are exempted from Inactive or Dormant status include:
- Locked Pockets (So long as auto roll-over feature is turned on)
- Term Deposit
- Rekening Dana Nasabah (RDN) Pocket
- Partner Pockets (such as GoPay, BFI, Bibit/Stockbit)
- Jago Dana Cepat
- Jago Dana Siaga
Are my funds safe if I have Inactive or Dormant status?
Yes, your funds are safe in Bank Jago. You can access your funds again after you’ve done reactivation.
What happens when a Pocket that is set as source of funds for auto-budgeting or Plan Ahead turns Inactive?
You will receive a reminder in the Jago App for you to provide consent to renew the Pocket as a source of funds for auto-budgeting or Plan Ahead prior to the Pocket turning into Inactive status. If you do not provide the consent, that Pocket will be Inactive and auto-budgeting or Plan Ahead will stop.
I have finished the reactivation, but I don’t see the inactive Pocket in my Pocket list. Why is that?
Once your Pocket has gone Inactive and been deleted, you won’t see it again, even after you reactivate. You can create a new Pocket for the same purpose and use it instead. But don’t worry, the remaining balance in your Inactive Pocket has been transferred to your Main Pocket.
What will happen if my Main Pocket balance is 0 balance? Will I still be charged an Inactive fee?
You won’t be charged an inactive fee once your Main Pocket reaches 0 balance. But if you maintain a 0 balance in your Main Pocket consecutively for the next 6 months, your account will be automatically closed. Make sure you add money and keep transacting using Jago!
Can Inactive or Dormant policy change in the future?
Yes, the policy for Inactive and Dormant status can change in the future due to regulatory changes or a change in Bank Jago’s internal policies.
Any changes to the policy will be notified in Terms & Conditions and other Bank Jago official channels.
Notes:
- Any Jago account with at least 1 (one) Inactive Pocket can't be converted into Jago Syariah
- A dormant account can't be converted into Jago Syariah
- The Bank reserves the right to close an account for any reason, provided prior notification is given to the Customer in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
