Semarang, 2 December 2024 – PT Bank Jago Tbk, in collaboration with Bisnis Indonesia, invited hundreds of Diponegoro University students, encouraging them to be more aware of their financial health by sharing smart money management tips through the Jagoan Kampus program.
Bank Jago initiated the Jagoan Kampus program to encourage the younger generation, especially university students, to actively network, develop skills, and prioritize financial health from an early age.
Nanang Harianto, Head of General Services at Bank Jago, opened the program by emphasizing the importance of building good and wise financial planning habits early on. With technological advancements, these positive habits are becoming easier to adopt, for example, by utilizing the advanced features in the Jago App or Jago Syariah.
"In Jago App, we try to accommodate everything. From the most conventional, which is saving, we also offer Deposits, Locked Pocket, and there's also Spending Analysis feature which can be used to record monthly transactions or expenses," he explained.
The Spending Analysis feature will simplify financial planning for the general public, especially the younger generation. Nanang noted that the feature becomes even more beneficial when users consistently record and provide complete transaction details. "The more disciplined we are in tracking, the more accurate the spending analysis will be," he clarified.
In addition to Spending Analysis, another key feature that Bank Jago relies on is the Pocket feature. "This is one of the most useful features. We can create up to 60 Pockets to organize money according to various needs," Nanang continued.
These various features demonstrate Bank Jago's commitment to fulfilling its vision. Nanang explained that Bank Jago was born from the aspiration to enhance growth opportunities through digital financial solutions. This vision extends not only to the retail or consumer segment but also to the mass market, including micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), through both conventional and sharia platforms.
"Bank Jago is one of the banks with a comprehensive digital ecosystem. Jago App is also integrated with several other applications in the digital ecosystem, such as Bibit and Stockbit,” Nanang concluded.
