Card Expiry & Renewal
What is an expired card?
An expired card is a debit card that has passed its validity period (month and year) shown on the card, so it can no longer be used for transactions.
If your card is set to expire (e.g., April 2026), you can still use it until the last day of that month (e.g., April 30, 2026). After that date, the card can no longer be used.
How do I know if my debit card is about to expire?
Jago will send you a notification via the app and email when your card is about to expire or has already expired.
What should I do to continue using my debit card?
If your card has not yet expired or is about to expire, you can renew it directly through the Jago app. The renewal option will be available starting one month before the expiry date.
If your card has already expired, you can still create a replacement card during the grace period (up to 1 month after the expiry date) through the Jago app.
Is there a fee for renewing my debit card?
No. Debit card renewal, whether physical or digital, is FREE.
If your card has expired and you create a replacement card within the grace period (up to 1 month after expiry), it will also be FREE.

I’ve renewed my card but still can’t use it for transactions. What should I do?
Please check the card details you’ve saved on the merchant’s website or app. Ensure the 16-digit card number, CVV, and expiry date match the latest details in the Jago app.
