During the month of Ramadan, every Muslim has the obligation to fast. Jagomin certainly expects every Jagoan to carry out fasting as well as possible and wholeheartedly. However, there are times when fasting cannot be carried out due to certain conditions. Examples include women who are pregnant and breastfeeding, those who are seriously ill and elderly people.
Referring to the SK Ketua BAZNAS No. 7 of 2023 concerning Zakat Fitrah and Fidyah, the DKI Jakarta area and its surroundings have been determined for a fidyah value in the form of money of Rp60,000/day/life. So, for example, if you leave the obligation to fast for 5 days, then you have a fidyah debt that must be paid in the amount of Rp300,000.
When to Pay Fidyah?
Fidyah payments can be made at the night where you leave the obligation of fasting. Or, you can also pay it all at once on the last night of Ramadan, especially if you are unable to fast for more than one day.
Separate Money to Pay Fidyah in Its Own Jago Syariah Pocket
So that the money to pay the fidyah is not used up for expenses or other needs, you can separate the amount of money that must be paid using the Pocket.
