Every Muslim would want to be able to perform umrah to the Holy Land one day. In order to make this dream come true, you need to start saving from now on.
Actually, you can go for umrah alone. But, it’s more fun if you can go with your beloved family members or close friends, right? The good news is, you can save money for Umrah with them in an encouraging way, in a Shared Pocket.
Shared Pocket: An Encouraging Way to Save Money for Umrah
Saving together and seeing the progress of savings will be more motivating than saving alone. By using the Shared Pocket feature in the Jago application, you can invite anyone you want to save together with.
Before inviting them, you can create a Pocket specially for Umrah. To make it more fun, you can name the Pocket “Umrah with Loved Ones” or whatever name you want.
After the Umrah Pocket is created, you can invite people to join. The Pocket will automatically become a Shared Pocket. Another cool thing is you can also determine the role of each member. For example, people can only view the Pocket or spend the money in the Pocket.
The Shared Pocket also allows you to set a target and monitor the progress. So, after some time, you can predict whether Umrah can be performed timely or you need to save more so that Umrah in year 20xx can really happen.
You Can Also Save Money for Umrah for Others
You can also save money together for other people. For example, you want to surprise your parents. How? Simply don’t invite your parents to the Shared Pocket. You can invite your brother or sister instead. When the savings target has been achieved, you can transfer the money to your parents.
Creating a Shared Pocket is super easy, Jagoan. You just need to follow these steps:
- On your Pockets tab, choose the Pocket you wish to change into a Shared Pocket.
- Find and tap the Invite button on the top of the screen.
- Choose members to invite from your Jago Contact or your Phonebook.
- Select a role for the invitee.
- Once accepted, your Pocket will automatically change into a Shared Pocket.
