Jakarta, December 23, 2021 - PT Bank Jago Tbk (Jago) has launched its customer fund account (RDN) service following the signing of a cooperation agreement with PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) on December 15, 2021.

Equipped with the advantages of simple and real-time services, Bank Jago's RDN service can contribute to boosting the number of capital market investors, which is currently dominated by the millennial generation. Investors can experience a new investment experience in stocks by opening an RDN service that is easy, fast, and without a minimum balance requirement.

President Director of KSEI, Uriep Budhi Prasetyo welcomed the cooperation with Bank Jago's RDN service. He hopes that Bank Jago's RDN service can help increase the number of investors in the country, who currently have a need for easier and faster investment services. With the joining of Bank Jago, the number of KSEI's RDN Bank Administrators has now reached 17 banks.

Data from the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) shows that the number of capital market investors as of the end of November 2021 reached 7.1 million investors, an increase of 3.3 million or 84.3% compared to the end of 2020.

The same data shows that 81.3% of investors in Indonesia are aged 40 and below or classified as millennials. On the other hand, millennial investors tend to choose financial services that are easy and fast.

"We hope that the number of securities companies collaborating with Bank Jago will increase, especially in order to accelerate the process of opening accounts electronically, considering the current era of digitalization," said Uriep.

In addition, Uriep hopes that Bank Jago will also support the socialization program to increase investor awareness of KSEI ACCESS as one of the investor protection infrastructures, which has been available through the banking network since 2014.

With the approval from KSEI, Bank Jago's RDN service can now be used by customers of securities companies collaborating with Bank Jago, including Mahakarya Artha Sekuritas (Stockbit) and Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia. The process of opening a Bank Jago RDN can also be done directly when opening a trading account in the Stockbit application.

"The key to Bank Jago's RDN service is safe, simple, and real-time because investors can experience a seamless experience during RDN account opening and transactions. The process is fast because opening a trading account, Bank Jago's RDN, and Bank Jago savings account can be done simultaneously in the Stockbit application," said Bank Jago President Director, Kharim Siregar.
