5 Years of the Jago App: Pioneering the Art of Placing Money and Managing Investment

Jakarta, 17 April 2026 – PT Bank Jago Tbk marks the five-year journey of the Jago App since its launch in April 2021 by strengthening its position as a pioneer in the art of placing money and managing investment. The Jago App continues to evolve from a digital banking application for savings and transactions into a comprehensive platform for allocating and growing assets within a single, integrated financial journey.

From the beginning, the Jago App introduced the Pockets feature, allowing users to separate their money into different categories based on their specific goals. This approach was inspired by local wisdom and the long-standing habit of Indonesians of dividing money into various containers, such as envelopes or simple storage places, according to their needs.

“This method of managing money has proven effective in encouraging the Jago App users to be more disciplined in allocating their funds and achieving their financial goals,” said Irene Santoso, Head of Digital Lending Business at Bank Jago.

As of March 2026, approximately 43.2 million Pockets have been utilized by 15.2 million users, with each user owning an average of nearly three dedicated Pockets. Among the various features available, the Spending Pocket is the most widely used, primarily for daily needs such as food, snacks, and other routine expenses. In addition, users utilize Pockets for bill payments, business needs, and seasonal allocations, such as the religious holiday allowance (THR), Eid celebrations, and qurban.

To optimize financial management and planning, the Jago App provides a Spend Analysis feature that displays all categorized income and expenses details. Powered by machine learning technology, the Jago App automatically groups every transaction while still allowing customers to customize categories as needed. This helps them identify their largest spending areas and maintain better financial control.

As customers’ financial management needs and literacy continue to improve, Bank Jago has observed that the Jago App users are becoming increasingly active in investing. This is reflected in the number of the Jago App users connected to partner investment platforms Bibit and Stockbit, which increased by 38.2% year-on-year as of December 31, 2025.

In terms of allocation, mutual funds remain the top investment choice at 44%, followed by stocks at 42%, and bonds at 14%. "The rising interest in the stock market is also evident from the opening of Bank Jago Customer Fund Accounts (RDN), which more than doubled throughout 2025," Irene added.

With the increasing and diversifying investment interests of Indonesians, Bank Jago recognizes the need for customers to view all investment portfolio details in a single display. Consequently, to mark five years of the Jago App, Bank Jago introduced an integrated display that allows customers to view their entire investment portfolio across various platforms in a single tab within the Jago App. This feature is connected to the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI), as well as existing partner investment platforms within the digital ecosystem, such as Bibit and Stockbit.

"Just like the art of placing money, the art of investing is not only about choosing the right instruments but also about understanding the entire investment portfolio we own. Today, the challenge users face is no longer limited investment options, but rather scattered and disconnected investment information, which could lead customers to make decisions based on incomplete data," Irene concluded.
