Bank Jago collaborates with Agate, a leading game developer in Indonesia, to create Jago Money Quest. Referring to the UN Financial Health Framework, Jago Money Quest places players in various financial situations simulation divided into eight game levels, starting as a new student to graduating from university and working.
Head of Sustainability & Digital Lending at Bank Jago, Andy Djiwandono, explained that in Jago Money Quest, players not only focus on financial factors but are also encouraged to consider other factors in making financial decisions, such as health and time to evaluate the value of a choice rather than just considering the price.
"We hope Jago Money Quest can make the younger generation more aware of their financial health, more confident in financial management, and have sustainable long-term financial goals," Andy stated.
Financial planner Rista Zwestika added that one of the challenges for the younger generation to achieve financial health is the lack of awareness of clear financial visions and goals. Yet both are parts of good financial health and the key to their future.
However, the younger generation doesn't need to worry because they still have time to take the initial steps in building awareness to manage their finances better and do not need to wait for their financial conditions to improve first.
