Bank Jago and GoTo Financial held a series of financial education for the GoFood Business Partner Community in providing opportunities to increase their business capacity.
Bandung, 1 October 2022 - Today PT Bank Jago Tbk (Bank Jago) confirmed its collaboration with GoTo Financial, part of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo), through a series of financial management education activities for GoFood business partners who use the GoBiz application and join in the GoFood Business Partner Community (KOMPAG). This financial education activity is a continuation of the announcement of Bank Jago's collaboration with GoTo Financial last August to encourage business partners to easily and comfortably manage their finances.
Bank Jago believes that technology does not only provide new experiences, but can also create wider financial access, equality, and improved welfare. This is in line with the government's vision and mission to make the digital economy a new source of growth and support the agenda of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia (BI), especially in accelerating financial inclusion and deepening financial literacy. This financial education effort is also in line with the 2022 Financial Inclusion Month initiated by OJK.
"This collaboration is based on the shared vision between Bank Jago and the GoTo Group in providing as much added value as possible to partners and users as well as enhancing financial inclusion and literacy. As a series of this collaboration, we are conducting a financial education activity while introducing the Jago Application which can help manage their finances digitally," said Head of Merchant Business Bank Jago, Vincent C. Soegijanto.
Listening to customers' needs and observing the community's behavior, especially business actors, Bank Jago conducted a series of financial management education with GoTo Financial with a focus on business and financial management that optimizes features and integration of the Jago and GoBiz applications. This enables GoFood's business partners can get various conveniences in managing their business and finances
The collaboration between the Jago and GoBiz applications allows GoFood business partners to do various things such as budgeting, payments, and monitoring financial reports more quickly and easily. "In the Jago App, we specifically introduced the Pocket feature to make it easier for GoFood business partners to separate personal finances from business finances. In addition, they can enjoy all transfer services for free and without admin fees," said Vincent.
Bandung is one of the cities targeted in collaboration with Bank Jago because of the high membership base and the enthusiasm of GoFood's business partners in KOMPAG Bandung.
Group Head Merchant Marketing Gojek and GoTo Financial, Bayu Ramadhan explained, "With more than 178 thousand GoFood business partners from various regions, KOMPAG is now one of the largest culinary entrepreneur communities in Indonesia. Through this community, we continuously encourage GoFood's business partners to grow sustainably through networking opportunities with fellow culinary entrepreneurs and access to various GoTo Financial digital solutions for their business development. We also routinely hold various educational programs, including financial management literacy that we are doing with Bank Jago today."
“We hope that more GoBiz culinary partners will join KOMPAG so they can benefit from this community. Going forward, we are optimistic that this collaboration with Bank Jago can also bridge GoFood's business partners to gain access to other various digital financial products and services," added Bayu.
This series of financial management education activities with Bank Jago has been running since August 2022 online and offline and will be carried out in major cities throughout Indonesia. At this stage, Bank Jago and GoTo Financial will focus on KOMPAG.
"Jago and GoBiz are a concrete existence of Bank Jago's collaboration with the GoTo Group which is expected to drive the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia by helping MSME players in the GoTo ecosystem to improve their financial management capabilities," concluded Vincent.
