Medan, 20 November 2022 - Having a dynamic lifestyle, the young generation often faces challenges in managing their finances. Some of these challenges include balancing needs and wants, having financial security, and building habits to maintain their financial sustainability.
With an aspiration to enhance the growth of millions through life-focused digital financial solutions (life-centric solution) and embedded in digital ecosystems, PT Bank Jago Tbk is committed to help Indonesian people to get one step closer in achieving their goals. For this reason, Bank Jago held the “Kumpul Jagoan” event in Medan today with a theme “Jago Actualizing Financial Resolution”.
This event presented the Head of Treasury & Financial Institution Bank Jago Yoyo Cahyadi and financial planner and the founder of Finante Rista Zwestika as the speakers. Attended by participants from millennial communities, this event aims to provide education in managing finances practically, and also introduce the Jago App.
Approaching the upcoming year, Rista Zwestika notes that one of the most common financial challenges is planning and actualizing financial resolutions. “Because of the dynamic lifestyle, millennials are prone to being trapped in financial challenges. Some of these include difficulty in self-control, often leading to debt or poor investment choices,” she said.
According to Rista, millennials should not have to worry about managing finances by taking a first step and without waiting for a better financial condition first, such as budgeting and allocating funds according to their needs. One of the practical ways is by using the Pocket feature in Jago App.
As a technology-based bank, Bank Jago has developed the Jago App that is designed to be customized, and personalized with the needs of each customer. With life-centric principals, Bank Jago designed the Jago App features with life aspect as the main priority and finances as the next priority.
“Jago utilizes the up-to-date technology that we built from the beginning independently so that the application can be accessed faster, more efficiently, personalized according to the needs, and prioritizing customer security,” said Yoyo Cahyadi.
In managing financial needs, customers can use the Pocket (Kantong) feature. Customers can separate money into different posts according to their needs and desires. Customers can create up to 40 pockets, and each pocket has a different account number. This feature facilitates customers to manage incoming and outgoing funds from the desired pocket.
Focusing on empowering customers in daily life, the Jago App is embedded in digital ecosystems in Indonesia. One of them is the GoTo ecosystem that has an app that is close to daily life, such as Gojek, GoPay, and GoBiz. Additionally, the Jago App is also connected to digital investment applications, such as Bibit and Stockbit.
“The integration within this ecosystem simplifies access to digital services, providing convenience for users to conduct financial transactions across various digital platforms in Indonesia,” added Yoyo.
Kumpul Jagoan is a discussion forum created by Bank Jago for financial management education in collaboration with various communities in Indonesia. This activity aims to listen to the interests and challenges they face in managing finances. Not only designed to help the communities to learn and improve their financial health, this activity also opens opportunities for participants to collaborate together to develop themselves, becoming more Jago in managing finances.
“We see that Medan and its surroundings have a high digital penetration. Therefore,we are here to introduce Jago and help millions of people here get one step closer to achieving their goals,” Yoyo concluded.
