Jakarta, 17 December 2024 – PT Bank Jago Tbk held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), approving the resignation of Peterjan van Nieuwenhuizen as a member of the Board of Directors. His resignation as a director will take effect on 1 January 2025.
"As someone who helped build Bank Jago from the start, Peterjan played a significant role in the development of the Jago App and in crafting collaboration strategies with ecosystems and strategic partners. With all the achievements we have made together, Peterjan aspires to explore new career opportunities at a regional level," said Bank Jago CEO Arief Harris Tandjung.
The EGMS also approved the resignation of Teguh Dartanto as an independent commissioner, effective upon the approval of the replacement commissioner candidate by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
Teguh Dartanto joined Bank Jago as an Independent Commissioner in 2020, performing his oversight duties and responsibilities exceptionally well. With his background as an academic and economist, Teguh provided invaluable advice and recommendations, contributing significantly to Bank Jago's development as one of the leading technology-based banks in Indonesia.

The EGMS also appointed Mahdi Syahbuddin as a commissioner, with his term effective upon OJK approval and lasting until the 2026 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS). Mahdi Syahbuddin is a seasoned banker with over 35 years of experience, having started his career at Citibank, Bank Universal, BTPN Syariah, and BTPN.

As of Q3-2024, Bank Jago’s funding customers through the Jago App have exceeded 11.1 million. Including lending customers, the total number of Bank Jago customers has reached 14.1 million.
The growth in Jago App users aligns with the increase in third-party funds (DPK), which reached IDR 16.9 trillion by the end of Q3-2024, marking a 64% growth compared to IDR 10.3 trillion in the same period last year. Through collaborations with various partners, such as digital ecosystems, financing companies, and other financial institutions, Bank Jago successfully disbursed loans totaling IDR 17.3 trillion by the end of Q3-2024, a 59% increase from IDR 10.9 trillion in the same period last year.
Bank Jago's total assets stood at IDR 26.8 trillion as of September 2024, a 40% growth from IDR 19.1 trillion in the same period last year. The bank also recorded a net profit after tax of IDR 86 billion, a 71% increase from IDR 50 billion as of September 2023.
