Bandung, March 23, 2024 - With the same spirit to always be at the forefront of sharing goodness, PT Bank Jago Tbk through its Sharia Business Unit (Jago Syariah) collaborates with PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing to organize a journey of sharing goodness and financial education in Bandung and Bekasi regions.
This is a social activity that starts with a group riding event together with hundreds of Yamaha motorbike community members while distributing basic needs packages to those in need. Subsequently, Jago Syariah provided education about Sharia finance to the riding participants and the communities of Bandung and Bekasi.
Head of Sharia Sales Management at Bank Jago, Roy Iskandar, stated that this collaboration and social activity are a form of Jago Syariah's commitment to enhancing growth opportunities for millions through digital Sharia financial solutions. Since the beginning, Jago Syariah has been launched to assist people in achieving their financial goals using Sharia principles, allowing Jago Syariah customers to experience innovations and features as advanced as those in the conventional Jago App.
"To help more people always stay ahead to win Ramadan, Jago Syariah invites Yamaha riders to share kindness. We also provide Sharia financial education to them as one of our contributions to improving Sharia financial inclusion and literacy in Indonesia," Roy explained.
The first journey of sharing goodness took place on March 23, 2024. Jago Syariah and the Yamaha Motor community members in the West Java region embarked on a journey from Yamaha Flagship Shop Bandung to the Baiturrahman Mosque, Baleendah, Bandung Regency. Meanwhile, the second planned activity will be conducted with the Yamaha Regional Jabodetabek Community on March 30, 2024, starting from Yamaha Store Bekasi to the Jami Al Akhyar Mosque, Margahayu, Bekasi.
Bhakti Ady Nugroho, Coordinator of Yamaha Motor Indonesia's AMD area in Bandung, hopes that this social activity with Bank Jago can help more people to stay ahead in achieving victory in the month of Ramadan. According to him, the Ramadan momentum is usually used by Yamaha motor enthusiasts for social gatherings.
"This year marks our first Journey of Goodness with Jago Syariah, and the enthusiasm of the participants is very positive. After riding around the city of Bandung, participants will share donations and receive valuable education for managing their finances," Adi stated.
Jago Syariah acknowledges that everyone has different ways to achieve their financial goals. Therefore, Jago Syariah is present to provide Sharia banking products and services equivalent to conventional banking, especially in the use of technology and financial transaction features.

There are two contract options in Jago Syariah, namely Wadiah Yad Dhamanah and Mudharabah Muthlaqah. With innovations and superior features, such as Pockets (accounts), customers can create up to 60 pockets, each with its own account number that can be tailored to their financial goals, such as emergency funds, breaking the fast funds, Eid holiday funds with family, and funds for Umrah. This way, customers can separate their funds to avoid mixing them, making it easier to achieve their financial goals.
To facilitate customer transactions, Jago Syariah is embedded in the digital ecosystem, including Gojek and Bibit. All Jago Syariah products are designed in accordance with Sharia principles approved by the National Sharia Council (DSN) of the Indonesian Ulema Council.
