Jakarta, 20 September 2022 - PT Bank Jago Tbk conducted a financial management education for the capital's cyclist community at the #KumpulJagoan event on Friday, 16 September 2022. At this event, the cyclist community gained knowledge and participated in discussions on ways to allocate funds for hobbies and daily needs using the Jago Application.
Having aspirations to enhance the growth of millions through life-focused digital finance solutions, Bank Jago introduced the Jago Application to the cyclist community so they are able to manage their finances easily, innovatively and collaboratively. The Jago Application is designed to be customized and personalized to suit the needs of each customer.
"With a life-centric principle, Bank Jago designed the Jago Application features by placing the aspect of life as the main priority and finance as the next priority," said Head of Sustainability at Bank Jago, Andy Djiwandono.
In managing finances, the Jago Application uses the Pockets feature. Customers can separate their money into different accounts according to their needs and wants, including daily needs and hobbies. Customers can create up to 40 pockets, where each pocket has a different account number. This simplifies users to manage incoming and outgoing funds directly from the desired pocket, just from one Bank Jago account.
#KumpulJagoan is an educational forum presented by Bank Jago to facilitate Bank Jago users to collaborate and support one another in an effort to achieve their financial goals. The birth of #KumpulJagoan stemmed from the community's high concern regarding financial challenges in their daily lives and their desire to improve their financial management skills. On this occasion, Bank Jago also listened to the interests and challenges faced by the community as a basis for developing the Jago Application in the future.
Collaborating with Virtuathlon, this time #KumpulJagoan is collaborating with four cyclist communities in Jakarta with the concept of Ride with Purpose. In addition to financial management, Bank Jago also encouraged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle, one of which is cycling.
The #KumpulJagoan event began with an activity of cycling together (in 2 Pelotons with different distances and travel times) followed by a talk show with Patricia Lisia as Deputy Director, Research and Regulation Department of OJK. On this occasion, Patricia shared about her cycling experience of 1,500 Km Bentang Jawa 2022 and how she promoted the Green Taxonomy campaign. Also present was Dzaki Wardana, the First Finisher of the Bentang Jawa 2021 and 2022.
"We really appreciate this #KumpulJagoan event, especially if it is carried out continuously not only in Jakarta, but also in other cities with hobbies or sports communities. This activity can be a good discussion forum and support system for the community. Not only by sharing inspirational experiences about hobbies, we also learn many new things. One of them is we have a better understanding of the ways in managing finances for our needs and desires in a practical and easy way.” Ramli Alrashid - Virtuathlon
This event is also supported by several brand partners such as Kuningan City, FRG Cycling, Yesoul, Herbana as well as cycling community partners, namely BKTCC and OJK Cycling Club.
