Password Authentication Limits for Transactions
How can I reset my authentication limit?
You can adjust your daily limit up to Rp10,000,000 by following these steps:
1. Open the Jago app and go to More.
2. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
3. Select Password Authentication.
4. Set your preferred limit (Rp1 to Rp10,000,000).
Security tip:
Never share your Jago PIN or password with anyone, including parties claiming to be from Bank Jago. Bank Jago will never ask for your confidential information.
What is the maximum limit for transactions using biometrics or PIN?
The maximum limit for transactions using biometrics (fingerprint/Face ID) or PIN is Rp10,000,000.
For transactions above this amount, you will be required to enter your Jago account password.
Can I increase the biometric/PIN limit back to Rp250 million like before?
No. For security reasons, the maximum limit for password-free authentication is capped at Rp10,000,000.
For transactions above this amount, simply enter your password to proceed securely.
What is the difference between a PIN and a password in the Jago app?
PIN: It's your 6-digit code used for quick login and smaller daily transactions.
Password: Your alphanumeric combination that serves as the main security layer, especially for high-value transactions or sensitive account changes.
Why am I now required to enter my password more often?
This is part of our effort to enhance your account security.
If your transaction exceeds your set limit or Rp10,000,000, you’ll be asked to enter your password as an extra layer of verification.
I never changed my limit. Why am I still asked for a password?
By default, the authentication limit for new users is Rp2,000,000.
If your transaction exceeds this amount and you haven’t updated your limit, you will be prompted to enter your password.
You can increase this limit up to Rp10,000,000 in Settings.
