3. APK file fraud

How to Block a Fraudster's Account If You Have Already Transferred Money

Indeed, money that has been transferred or lost cannot be guaranteed to be returned by the bank. However, you can still take steps to block fraudulent accounts for security reasons.
1. Contact Bank Jago via email to [email protected]
Whether the fraudster uses a Jago account or another bank account to commit fraud, you can still report it to Jago so that the bank can immediately block it and investigate further.
2. Prepare the data and documents needed to report fraudulent accounts
Along with the email you will send to Jago, make sure you provide the following data and documents so that the blocking and investigation process can proceed immediately.
- Mobile number that can be contacted
- Supporting documents related to the transaction (1x24 hours)
- Chronology related to this problem with detailed information including the fraudster’s bank account number (1x24 hours)
- Transaction date & time
- Name of bank used by sender
- Name and bank account number of the sender
- Statement of Police Report (maximum 3 working days after you report and receive a message from Bank Jago)
In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Jago requires a Statement of Police Report to block fraudulent accounts and continue the report to the next level.
If the Statement of Police Report takes time to be processed, you can still first report the incident you experienced so that Bank Jago can check whether there have been similar reports regarding the fraudster's account.
3. Your Jago account has been hacked and your money has been taken by fraudsters, what to do?
If your Jago account is hacked by fraudsters, you can report it to the Jago customer service for immediate blocking.
To unblock your Jago account or if you want to continue this case to the next stage, you still need a Statement of Police Report. The return of customer money that has been taken by fraudsters cannot be guaranteed.
4. Report suspicious accounts via Cek Rekening website
Another way that you can try after making a report to the bank is to report suspicious fraudulent accounts through Cek Rekening website.
